Replica Arrows
There are arrows out on the web for sale, but many are only tourist quality at best.  If you are looking for
an accurate replica of a North Eastern Indian arrow, you've come to the right place.  There is a lot of work
that goes into making correct replica arrows.  I primarily replicate arrows that would have been in use by the
Iroquois Indians of the Eastern United States.  Each Red Dogwood arrow shaft is hand selected and cut by me
each year during deer hunting season in south central New York State.  The shafts are then allowed to dry
with the bark on for a few months.  Next the shafts are debarked using chert flake spoke shaves, and
straightened by hand with fire.  The arrow point is hand knapped by me, and then affixed to the shaft with my
own pine pitch glue recipe along with hide glue and real deer sinew.  I hand fletch the shafts with turkey wing
feathers and real deer sinew.  No jigs are used.

Each replica arrow is museum quality when finished, and as you can see, they are not easily made.  No jigs,
pre-machined shafts, or artificial materials are used.  I believe our arrows are some of the best out there for
the price we charge.  All arrows are made to hunting specs, but are meant for display only and should never be
used for hunting purposes or shot with a bow.  We will not be responsible for misuse of our arrows, and by
purchasing one your are agreeing to assume all risks resulting from use other than for decorative purposes.
If you desire a set of matched hunting arrows, please email me at mike@susquehanna-wd.com to make
special arrangements.
