Steve Nissly
Steve Nissly is from Pennsylvania and is a top knapper in his area. He's a regular at the Bald Eagle Knap-in each year in P.A. as well as at the Letchworth, N.Y. Knap-in. He's known for his paper thin Perkiomen points made from rare Pennsylvania Jasper like the one pictured to the right. Steve also is an honest and fair rock vendor of Burlington Chert, Novaculite, Obsidian, and others. If you have a chance, stop by & chat or knap with Steve at a knap-in.

Joel Bookhammer
Joel is from Central Pennsylvania and is a new & upcoming flintknapper. He's only been knapping for 3 years and is already turning out nice work. He won the the Beginner's award at the Letchworth, N.Y. knap-in for 2007 and it was well deserved. He makes knives, points and other primitive tools as well as is an avid searcher of artifacts. Joel is a nice guy to chat with and the knapping community looks forward to see his work in the upcoming years. Just check out this nicely knapped serrated Dalton point he gave me for this web page.
Pete Leggett
Pete is a Canastota, New York knapper who has been knapping for almost 10 years and is a regular at the Letchworth, N.Y. knap-in. Pete never minds showing curious members of the public how flintknapping is done and always participates in the 10 speed competitions that we have at the N.Y. knap-in. Pete does nice work, just check out the nice points to the right.
Al Kronimus
Al has been knapping for quite a long time. He's from eastern New York and knows just about every kind of knappable rock from out that way. He's a regular at the Letchworth, N.Y. knap-in and he always brings a quantity of Eastern Onondaga, Normanskill, and Esopus Cherts to sell. When Al isn't knapping he's out looking for artifacts and has quite a bit of knowlege when it comes to New York archaeology. Al is fun guy to get to know and is always willing to sit down & show curious people about flintknapping. Right are a Genesee Point and a fluted point by Al.
