This is a super pair of Adena Cache blades. The Adena culture of Ohio used to bury these points in caches for future use or as burial offerings. I knapped these two blades while on Hiawatha Island on the Susquehanna River, NY. The longest point is a hair under 3 3/4 x 1 1/2 inches. The most colorful one is a hair over 3 inches x 1 1/2 inches. Both are made from Flint Ridge chert of Ohio. $15.00 for left blade SOLD $25.00 for right blade

Calf Creek points are hard to make because of their deep basal notches that are a recipe for ears being snapped off as well as other problems that destroy the point. Not many knappers make them, and as artifacts they are hard to find deeply notched and whole. I offer this replica made from Texas chert and given a false patina for character. It's 2 3/4 inches long & 2 1/4 inches across the barbs. The notches are nearly an inch deep from the base. This is a great point. $32.00

Ross Points were a Hopewell ceremonial point. Most were buried in the great mounds in Ohio. True Ross points should be made from Obsidian or Knife River Flint. This Ross is made from Root Beer flint from Texas, which very much resembles Knife River in color and texture. Most Ross points historically are 9-12 inches in length, but I've seen a few examples in the range of this one. At 4 1/2 inches long and a hair over 2 inches at it's widest point, this is a small Ross but well made with wide percussion flaking. This point was just released from my personal keeper case $40.00
P09-26 Ross Point
Here's a nice Hopewell point made from Nethers Flint Ridge Flint from Ohio. It's right on in form for a Hopewell and has some wild coloring that almost makes the point look hazy. At 2 3/4 inches long and 2 1/4 inches at it's widest part, its a fine piece that would look great in any collection of modern knapped artwork. $30.00
