The Hopewell Indians used to make the long trek from the Ohio valley all the way to Yellowstone Park just to obtain obsidian for their spectacular Ross Hopewell points. Along with the Ross points, a few lesser quality points made of obsidian have been recovered. I've even seen obsidian Hopewell points in the Columbus, Ohio Museum. Here I offer what I believe would have been the work of one of the Ross makers if he'd been inclined to make a Hopewell point. It's 3 1/2 inches long & 2 inches at it's widest point. It's completely translucent when held up to any light source. I absolutely do not enjoy knapping obsidian, so get this one while you can, it may be the last one I ever make. $24.00

P08-08 Pedernales
While looking at authentic artifacts for sale on e-bay, I saw an awesome Pedernales point that was broken in half and it inspired me to make this large bold Pedernales. This is what a brand new Pedernales would have looked like. It's make out of Texas Rootbeer chert that has a creamy white swirling through it. This beauty is also translucent when held up to the light. At 4 3/4 inches long and 2 1/4 inches at it's widest part, its a flawless piece. $36.00

P08-09 Hardin
Hardin points were the king of archaic stemmed points in the Midwest. This Hardin point is one of the best ones I've made to date. It's made from heat treated Burlington Chert with some great pink and redish tan coloring. It's got the right beveling as the originals did as well as the tiny serrated flakes that should be present in a best of the best Hardin point. At 4 inches long & a bit over 1 1/4 inches at it's widest part, it's a flawless piece. I can't make a Hardin better than this!!!! $34.00
